Shakiru Quadri is currently the Fragility, Conflict and Migration (FCM) initiative Technical Advisor with the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), a member of the global Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). An agriculturist, food security and development specialist with over two decades experience working in the government and development sectors. A Fellow of the Institute of Agribusiness Management Nigeria (FIAM), and Lifetime member, International Association for Community Development (IACD) Glasgow, Scotland, UK. An experienced resource in inclusive and enterprise development activities, with significant experience in Fragile and Conflict Affected (FCA) regions. He holds an MSc (Food Security and International Development) University of Reading, UK, MBA (Business Administration) University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria, and currently rounding off his PhD (Livelihoods and Natural Resources Economics), at Bayero University Kano, Nigeria.
