  • How do I register?

    You can register for Development2030 by visiting the registration form, which will go live on this site nearer the time.

  • How much does it cost to attend Development2030?

    Development2030 is free to attend. This includes access to all conference sessions, the networking drinks reception and the exhibition. Please note, all attendees need to organise and pay for their own travel and accommodation.

  • Who attends Development2030?

    Development2030 is the largest event of its kind and brings together over 3000 professionals from 80+ countries. Attendees come from UN Agencies, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, international and local NGOs, Government, Community Based Organisations, Private Sector Companies, Foundations and Donors, relevant media, associations among many others. 

  • Do I need to pre-register to attend?

    It is recommended that you pre-register your attendance to Development2030 to avoid having to register at Palexpo. Pre-registered visitors will be able to pre-print or collect their entry badge on arrival for quick access to the event.

  • I have registered but not received any confirmation email. What should I do?

    All pre-registered attendees will receive a confirmation email shortly after completing the registration form. If you do not receive your confirmation, please email info@aid-expo.com. Badges will not be posted, you will either be able to download these or they will be available for collection when you arrive.

  • I have registered, but can no longer attend. Can my colleague attend on my behalf?

    If you can no longer attend Development2030, you are welcome to invite a colleague to attend on your behalf. They must however register separately with their details either in advance or once they arrive at the venue.

  • Do you sponsor or pay for delegates to attend the event?

    Regrettably, we cannot pay for delegate's accommodation and travel. However, we offer free entry for all visitors.

  • Where is Development2030 held?

    AidEx Geneva is held in Hall 4 of Palexpo, in Geneva, a short walk away from Geneva Airport and just a few bus stops away from the city centre.

  • What are the dates and opening times of Development2030?

    Development2030 dates and opening times are: 

    Wednesday 22 October 2025: 09:00 - 17:30  

    Thursday 23 October 2025: 09:00 - 17:00 

  • If I need a visa, how do I obtain a letter of invitation for my application?

    It is the responsibility of all attendees to arrange a visa to Switzerland. Should you need one, we can provide a letter to assist your application. Please email sophia.west@aid-expo.com for more details.

  • How do I get to Development2030?

    Development2030 takes place at Palexpo, adjacent to Geneva International Airport, with connections across most of Europe and many destinations across Africa and Asia. The airport also has a train station which links with major cities across continental Europe. For more detailed travel information, visit our ‘When and Where’ page.

  • Where do I find the conference programme and speaker list?

    The conference programme and speakers are live on this site.

  • Where can I find a list of the exhibiting organisations and companies?

    The confirmed exhibiting organisations have been announced. If you interested in exhibiting, please contact iska.meyer-wendecker@aid-expo.com  

  • I am coming from overseas, where can I stay?

    Geneva, like most major cities, has lots of hotel options for many budgets. Please view our hotel reservation platform.

  • Is Development2030 accessible to all?

    Palexpo is fitted with ramps and the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific requirements, please contact us.

  • Is there free wi-fi at the venue?

    Yes, there is free wifi at Palexpo.

  • Can I sell my products at Development2030?

    The exhibition features 200+ suppliers of products and services as well as not-for-profit organisations showcasing their latest projects. Suppliers can only display their products if they have booked an exhibition stand. Suppliers are welcome to attend as a visitor and to network, however anyone canvassing or selling outside of exhibition stands will be asked to leave.   • Can I book a meeting room at the event?

    Development2030 has a number of seating areas available for you to have a meeting around the exhibition. There are also meeting rooms just outside of the hall available for private meetings (for 30-100 people). If you would like to find out more about booking a meeting room, please contact iska.meyer-wendecker@aid-expo.com 

  • I am interested in exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities

  • I am interested in speaking at the conference

    The Development2030 conference is designed to be collaborative and informative with a high-level keynote speaker each morning, followed by interactive panel sessions throughout the day. The conference speakers are invited to contribute based on their experience in relation to the conference theme.     Any press registering for Development2030 who select 'Press' as their job type will receive a press badge (these will be vetted). There will be a press office at Development2030 next to the registration area.
