Monica Ramos is the Global WASH Cluster Coordinator with UNICEF, based in Geneva, Switzerland. She is a dedicated and multifaceted professional with over 20 years’ international experience in roles ranging from country-level programme manager to a regional and global level strategic advisor and donor, and cluster coordinator providing specialized expertise in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector throughout Africa, Asia, Latin
America and the Middle East.

She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Water and Waste
Engineering. She is dual national from Mexico and the United States, and is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
