Marie Gad is Director of Global Development and Sustainability at the Confederation of Danish Industry, the largest Danish business association with more than 20,000 member companies.

Marie Gad also holds the position as Vice-Chair of BIAC – Business at the OECD’s Development Committee and is Private Sector Liaison Officer to the World Bank Group.

She is also appointed to the Danish Council for Development Policy, and elected as a member of the Board of Global Compact Network Denmark and the Board at Ethical Trade Denmark.

Prior to her position at DI, Ms. Gad worked in the corporate sector with international trade and business development with a geographical focus on emerging markets and developing countries.
