Florent has been working for the Red Cross Movement for more than 15 years’ experience. He is currently the manager of the Emergency Operation Centre in Geneva, a portfolio that encompasses all the global response tools, including the DREF, to enable relevant and up-to-scale responses to humanitarian needs. Florent has a significant experience of more than 12 years of operations and programme management at the field level in the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Before moving to Geneva, Florent was Head of Emergency Operations leading large and complex operations for the IFRC. Florent holds a master’s degree from “la Sorbonne” and “Sciences Po” in international development and programme management studies.
