Faith Magadi is the global senior manager for disaster resilience at Compassion International. In this role she leads the disaster resilience team in designing and adapting effective response and resilience building interventions through systems thinking with a focus on diversifying livelihoods, climate change adaptation strategies and integration of processes. Prior to this, she worked with World Vision global office overseeing east and southern Africa region. With a career spanning over 14 years, Faith has built proficiency in People management, Emergency Response programming, Resilience building, Disaster Risk Management, Process management and Capacity building. She holds an MA in Development Studies and bachelor’s degree in government and public administration. She serves as a board chair of a local organization and is committed to supporting capacities of local actors.
