Dr Mirja Michalscheck
Postdoctoral Researcher - Innovation Scaling at International Water Management Institute
Dr. Mirja Michalscheck is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Innovation Scaling with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in Ghana. Mirja holds an M.Sc. in Integrated Water Resources Management and a P.hD. in Farming Systems Research, with a regional focus on sustainable land and water management on the African continent. Mirja currently works for the Fragility, Conflict and Migration (FCM) Initiative of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). As part of the FCM Initiative, together with the World Food Program, the CGIAR offers a 6-months Innovation Accelerator program in Nigeria, Jordan and Kenya. The Accelerator is leveraging on the “research for development” knowledge and network to accelerate start-up’s inclusive and sustainable reach into FCM areas.
