Dr Mary Okumu is ForAfrika’s Senior Director and Head of the Technical Unit. In this role, she is responsibility for technical programming oversight; providing thought leadership and technical capacity in the development and application of ForAfrika’s Programming Vision, Framework; Sector Strategies and operational Tools across all ForAfrika’s country programmes in alignment with the organization’s Theory of Change. In this capacity, Dr Okumu is also responsible for generating innovative and scalable programming models whose impact is sustained transformational livelihoods for families and communities in Africa thus making ForAfrika the evidence-based Proven Center of Excellence and the “To-Go-To Place” for sustainable community development.
