Dr. Bruni leads the WHO Country Office Ukraine’s Emergency Programme and Incident Management Team in responding to humanitarian health needs related to the current escalating war. Hailing from Italy, he possesses comprehensive training in Public Health in Disasters, Humanitarian Coordination, Medical Anthropology, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases, Planning and M&E, and Global Health. He has accumulated valuable leadership experience in crises through more than 15 years of dedicated work in humanitarian action, emergency preparedness, research and health response across various regions, including Africa, South America, Asia, and Europe.
