Daigo Ishiyama is the Innovation Leader for the SATO business at LIXIL Corporation. With an MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering and bachelor’s in industrial design, Daigo has been with the company for over 20 years. At SATO, he is the mastermind behind product development and design, having created the aspirational range of affordable sanitation and hygiene solutions.

Before his current position with SATO, he served in a leading role on the New Product Development department at American Standard Brands in the USA. During his tenure there, Ishiyama designed and developed numerous mid-to-high-end bathing and sanitaryware products that were introduced to the market.

Based in New Jersey, USA, he brings the latest knowledge and thinking regarding toilet systems, product development, and manufacturing techniques to create customer-centric solutions for the SATO business, which aims to empower people everywhere to live a better life and enjoy a brighter future through innovative sanitation and hygiene solutions.
