Anne-Sofie Munk is the Director of the Humanitarian Innovative Finance Hub (HIFHUB), an initiative under the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the world’s largest humanitarian network. Under her leadership, the HIFHUB is committed to expanding the use of financial instruments to tackle humanitarian challenges. She heads a globally distributed team focused on building a portfolio of investible projects, enhancing organisational capacity, and fostering cross-sector partnerships to increase the impact of humanitarian interventions. Throughout her career, Anne-Sofie has centred her work on addressing the needs of people in fragile settings, supporting major humanitarian organisations in saving lives and alleviating suffering. Her previous roles at the Danish Red Cross, UNFPA, and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) focused on forging transformative partnerships across corporate, governmental, and humanitarian sectors.

Anne-Sofie holds a master’s degree in social science and international development studies and serves as an external examiner at Roskilde and Aarhus Universities in Denmark.
