UNFPA recently appointed Andrés as the new Manager of the Humanitarian Supplies Team at its Supply Chain Management Unit in Copenhagen. Andrés brings over a decade of experience with UNFPA, including roles such as Junior Professional Officer at HQ and leading a procurement services team that supported partners in 60 countries across 3 regions.

Prior to his current role, Andrés built a diverse career within the UN system, serving in various field and HQ capacities with UNDP, UNOPS, OSCE and IOM. His extensive field deployments span regions including South-Eastern Europe, Afghanistan, and numerous countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, showcasing his commitment to humanitarian efforts.
