Andrea Düchting is an independent consultant and Research Associate at the Berlin-based Centre for Humanitarian Action (CHA). She manages CHA’s research project on data and digitalisation which looks at aspects of humanitarian innovation, digital accountability, and digital capacities. Andrea builds on around 15 years of operational experience in the humanitarian sector working for different international and national organisations in Europe, Subsaharan Africa and South Asia. Her technical background is in integrated food security and nutrition programming, partnerships and humanitarian coordination. Nowadays, she mainly specialises on topics around digital transformation following a people-centred systems change approach.
